Legal frameworks that support the stability of the family business, regulate the relationship between family members and shareholders, and preserve business continuity across generations.
About the practice
M&CO advises family businesses and their owners on ownership structuring, governance and business continuity, taking account of the relationship between family members, the interests of the company and the demands of its current stage.

- Developing governance frameworks and policies for the management of the company
- Drafting and reviewing shareholders’ agreements and related family arrangements
- Succession planning and the transfer of ownership and management between generations
- Defining the authority of boards of directors and executive management
- Restructuring family businesses and organising asset ownership
- Legal matters arising from business expansion and the entry of new investors
- Resolving differences and disputes that may arise between family members or shareholders
